Loans Boxes

A perfect way to complement a visit to our museum is to book one of our fantastic loans box options: Museums in a Box and Dress Up & Drama Boxes.

We offer a range of inspirational Loans Boxes for schools and groups to borrow allowing pupils to handle real and replica artefacts. Suitable for inspiring learning in several subjects such as: reminiscence, art, creative writing, drama, music, storytelling and literacy work.

All our loans boxed are collected and returned from Tudor House & Garden and are booked per half term. At the moment we are unable to offer courier service for our loan’s boxes.

Museums in a Box

Our inspirational Museums in a Box bring subjects to life by allowing students to handle artefacts themselves and are Suitable for inspiring learning in a number of subjects such as: reminiscence, art, creative writing, drama, music, storytelling and literacy work.

Prices: 

Museums in a Box (Southampton City Council Schools)  – £35

Museums in a Box (All other schools and groups)  – £40

Dress Up & Drama Boxes 

Our Dress Up & Drama Boxes contain great costumes evoking the spirit of the period as well as ideas for how to bring history to life through costume and drama. As well as a fantastic range of costumes each box also contains ideas and suggestions for how you can use the costumes in class. 

Prices: 

Southampton city council schools  – £20

All other schools and groups  – £25
