We are committed to making your Learning experience as enjoyable and safe as possible. To ensure this we will:
Provide high quality online talks and workshops for learners of all ages
Treat all learners with respect
Keep your information secure and confidential at all times
Clearly outline how the session will work at the beginning of each talk / workshop
Admit only participants who have booked a place
For online sessions:
‘Mute’ all participants in the first instance to keep background noise to a minimum. Participants can unmute themselves when asking questions and contributions
For adult talks, record the session when possible to share with participants unable to attend for up to seven days after the event. Only the speaker’s screen is recorded.
We ask that you:
Listen to the person(s) leading the workshop or talk for instruction and safety
Please consider your language and behavior in our activities as younger people may be present.
For online sessions:
Remember that you are visible to other participants even when the zoom screen is minimised
Consider what is visible to other participants from your home and if it contains personal information you do not want to share. Please consider this especially carefully if you are supervising a younger participant
Do not screen shot or record any part of the session as we do not have permission from other participants. Any participants concerned about this happening may wish to switch off the camera on their device
Supervise under 16s at all times. Please do make sure younger learners understand that they are visible to others and are appropriately dressed.
If participating in an activity for children and families (under 16) please turn on your video at the outset of the session so that the facilitator can greet you. After this point you are welcome to switch off your video if you would like to.
